Choosing your topsoil

How to choose your topsoil for flowering

The use of topsoils of poor quality or unfit for cultivation results in a stunted growth and rapid drying out of plants at the first severe heat. This problem, which is often intensified when window boxes are very exposed to the sun, generates a very heterogeneous and often very short flowering cycle.

Solution

The choice of topsoil is based on the capacities of the substrate to hold water for one thing, and then to gradually release the nutrients for the needs of the flowers while promoting their rooting. The use of ORGASYL potting soil is perfectly suited to these objectives, the presence of the root growth stimulator (OSIRYL) promotes root colonization and its enrichment with the (ORGA 3…) organic fertilizer allows a slow release of nutrients, for a long floral cycle.
